Hello everyone,

First of all, I wanted to introduce myself as the new founder for the #PeinXKonanFC group.  I should have done this about a month ago when I was made the founder, but I actually didn't know I was the founder until just yesterday (hence why I haven't been very active in the group and I'm very sorry about that).  I hope I will be a good founder for the group and make it a great group to be a member of.  


 GROUP RENOVATION  

There hasn't been a major update to the group since 2010-2011, so I figure now is a good time to renovate the group and make some changes.  It'll probably take me a month or two to update the group, so please be patient in the meanwhile.  I hope to make the group much more active and give all of you more activities and events to partake in.

Here's what I plan to add/update (if needed and in no particular order):
Rules
Folders and submission guidelines
Membership roles
Front page
Gallery organization

I would also like to include you in the renovation process.  If there's anything that you would like to see in the group, please let me know in a comment in this journal.  I want to make this group enjoyable for everyone, so please don't hesitate to voice your ideas/opinions, even if you think they seem silly or dumb.  I can't promise I can or will use your ideas, but I promise to consider them.  (And since I'm sure someone will mention it, I plan to organize a contest in the near future--probably for January.)

Also, just a heads up, while I'm updating the group, I probably won't be paying much attention to submissions to the gallery.  I will work on organizing and updating the gallery first so that submissions can continue.  If you submit artwork to the gallery and don't see it, that's why.


 CO-FOUNDER INTEREST?  

Would anyone be interested in being a co-founder for the group?  I will probably mostly need help with voting submissions, though I wouldn't mind help with updating and running the group in general.  If you're interested, please comment on this journal.  If there's enough interest, I will write another journal with details on my expectations and an application.  Otherwise I will probably just contact those that are interested individually.


 SECRET SANTA?  

I know it's a little late, but would anyone be interested in participating in a Secret Santa?  If you're interested, please comment on this journal.  If you let me know if you're interested by the end of the day Thursday, 11/29, I will post another journal on Friday, 11/30 with more details.  Otherwise I'll just post another journal later if there's enough interest.  The Secret Santa will probably last until mid-January since I'm posting this so late in the month and I want to give people more time on their gifts (normally I would have asked for participant information mid-November instead of late-November).


 VACATION  

Another heads up:  I will be going on vacation this Friday, 11/30 and will not have access to a computer or the Internet until either Sunday 12/09 or Monday 12/10.  That means that I will be unable to respond to comments, notes, submissions, etc.  If you're waiting for me to respond to something and you don't hear anything next week, that's why.
